Almost every Wednesday afternoon in the summer the library has someone come in and perform for the kids. A couple weeks ago someone came and sang funny songs with the kids. For a few of his songs he played the spoons while he sang. Last week Easton took out some spoons and decided to give it a try. Blair soon joined in and well spoons might not be her thing...

Blair wanted her picture taken with her brothers too!
For FHE we decided to go bowling. The kids seemed to have fun for the first half of the game but then decided the coin op car game was a little more fun. Nathan ended up winning! I was glad that I at least broke 100! I ended with 109 (I think...It might have been 106).

Me bowling
Dyer just slept the whole time but I can't believe that I didn't get at least one picture of him. I'm lame.
One last picture of Blair with her ball. She wanted to bowl the whole time and didn't like that she had to wait her turn.

Blair's top sayings these days:
No, I do it! (This has gotten really old fast!)
I did it! (This one cracks me up because often times she wants to do things her self (Ms. Independent!) but sometimes she just can't do it (i.e. put her seat belt on) so when Nathan and I do it for her she will still say, "I did it!" )
I win! (Again this one cracks me up because she can be the last one up the stairs and yet she will exclaim, "I win!" Or when we go and pick Easton up from preschool she will start running towards Ms. Valerie's house and half way there she will turn back to me and say, "I win!" - Okay Blair #1 I didn't know we were racing and #2 you haven't made it to Ms. Valerie's house yet, silly girl!)
Why? (The good old whys...I hate them! Enough said!)

Dang it! (I probably should encourage this saying but I honestly can't help but laugh every time she says it. It really is pretty cute when it comes from her mouth).
I had it first! (Only it comes out, "I had it Burst!" ) All her words that start with f come out with the b sound (i.e fish is bish, Father is Bader. One of my favorite words she mispronounces is airplane (woo-pane)
Blair is all about accessorizing these days. The past week she has had to have some type of bracelet on.
One of Blair's newest things is to hit or kick someone as she is saying sorry. I guess saying sorry as you do it makes it okay?
Yesterday we had a spider in the bathtub so I asked Easton to kill it for me (I hate spiders). He looks at it and then says, "No, have daddy kill it."
Me: "Daddy's at work so you have to kill it."
Easton walks out of the bathroom but obviously was thinking of a solution because a while later he runs up to me with a hammer and says excitedly, "I'll smash it with a hammer!"

Easton's been learning I love to see the Temple in primary this month. He had it down within the second week of learning it but for some reason he sings the last part wrong. Instead of "this is my sacred duty." He says, "this is my secret duty." It sounds like he's a special agent on a secret mission.
All of our kids have their own song (primary song) that we sing to them every night before bed. We were trying to figure out what Dyer's song should be and even though we have one now for him Easton still insists that his song is "Hey Mr. DJ" by Madonna. While Jana was here she played that song many times for the kids telling them that it was Dyer's song.
