We decided to try our hands at gardening this year. Luckily the kids have stayed out of the garden for the most part even though we catch them every once in a while digging. We can't exactly get too upset since last year it was Easton's "sandbox".
We have lettuce (even though the bugs got to them and basically devoured them), broccoli, peas (just flowers right now), cucumbers (still flowers), radishes (they weren't very big), peppers (still waiting), pumpkins (just flowers), and a bunch of herbs.
Pumpkin plants. They are growing like crazy!

Radishes
Radishes were our first plant that was supposed to be done. The day they were supposed to be done (we had a crazy spring this year) Nathan asked Easton if he wanted to help him pick some radishes. Nathan had to get something from the garage and when he came outside Easton had already picked two! Nathan wasn't too happy that Easton didn't wait for him especially since they definitely weren't done yet and Nathan would have only picked one if he would have known that. Eventually Nathan looked on the bright side and realized how luckily he was that Easton actually picked radishes instead of something else and that he only picked two! I have no idea how Easton knew which ones were radishes but if I had to guess I'm assuming he just remembered from when we planted them. Easton is such a smart kid!
Oh, and we can't forget about Nathan's Lemon tree. After a whole year we might actually get some lemons this year.
