After we saw the sea lions we ate lunch and then headed to the beach. It was overcast most of the time but at least it wasn't sprinkling/raining like it was earlier in the morning.

Easton was so excited that he jumped into the water before we were able to roll up his pants. I was actually surprised that Easton went in and stayed in for as long as he did because the water was freezing!

A nice lady walked by and gave Blair a sand dollar!

The kids were having a great time until they went out too far (we kept telling them to come back/not go out too far) and a wave knocked both of them down into the water. Blair was the first to go under and Nathan ran out to rescue her. She was basically rolling in the waves. Once Nathan got her then Easton got knocked down and Nathan had to grab him. I don't think they liked the salty water. Blair kept spitting when she got to the blanket. They were both cold but we forgot our towels (probably because we didn't think that we would actually need them). Blair seemed the most miserable so I striped her down and gave her my sweatshirt. Easton was pretty much done after that. He just laid on the blanket all curled up and eventually asked if we could go.
