The Good: We got free tickets to go see the Oakland A's baseball team play!
The Bad: It ended up costing us almost $300!
The Ugly: Someone smashed in our car window. They took our wireless headphones for the DVD player, our jumper cables, and our car manuals(?). The car manuals were in a nice binder so I guess they thought something valuable was in there? They tried to take our DVD player but couldn't pry it out and somehow they didn't find our GPS.
They smashed in the window that Dyer sits next to so he had glass all over in his car seat. I think that upset me the most that someone would smash a window where a baby sits. I'm sure they weren't thinking or maybe didn't realize it at the time but it still ticked me off. We moved Dyer next to Easton in the backseat so that he wasn't next to the broken window. Our car ride home was on the cooler side. I gave Easton Dyer's blanket since he was getting most of the wind in his face and I didn't want him to be freezing the whole time, but by the time we got home Dyer felt pretty cold. Thank goodness they didn't take our DVD player because that kept Easton and Blair distracted enough to not complain that is was too cold and noisy.
This all happened on a Thursday night and we were leaving Saturday morning for our family vacation so Friday was a little crazy. The shop actually stayed open after hours to fix our window so we could leave on time which was nice but it of course cost us extra money to do this.

You can probably see why we got free tickets! There was hardly anyone in the stands.
