Sea Lion Caves

Nathan made most of the meals and washed the dishes while we were camping. I would have to say that I loved this about camping. The kids were actually pretty well behaved. We really only had a problem with mainly Blair and kind of Easton on the second night when we were trying to get them to go to bed. I was expecting this the whole time we were camping so I was pleasantly surprised. Dyer would get up once during the night to eat but then he would instantly go back to sleep when I put him down.

Nathan making breakfast.

Easton playing in the sand.

I think he was trying to be a dinosaur...

After we ate breakfast and got ready for the day we headed to the Sea Lion Caves.
It's hard to see but Easton is using his hands as binoculars. An elderly couple drove up as both Easton and Blair were using their hands as binoculars and the couple just watched them for a few minutes before they got out of their car. When they got out the man was laughing and said, "That is the cutest thing ever! We have been on vacation for a couple days now and I think that is the highlight of our trip so far!" I agree that it was pretty cute and funny to see both of them doing it together at the same time (especially when Blair was squatting and doing it) but to be honest the couple most have had a really boring trip before this.

We kept seeing what looked like seaweed or debris but when we got closer we realized it was a bunch of sea lions.

Easton thought these were penguins.

Inside the cave. We took an elevator down to see the sea lions.
